Description

NAICS Code 238220. Work includes, but is not limited to: remove and replace two (2) boiler burners and gas trains from existing Kewanee boilers. All work will be performed at the Federal Building/U.S. Courthouse, Rapid City, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 30 calendar days after notice to proceed, to be issued on or about June 1, 2006. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued March 3, 2006, with offers due on March 23, 2006. Anticipated award date is March 30, 2006. To be eligible for award, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOpps website on the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. A limited number of paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. This procurement is being set aside for small business, see Numbered Note 1. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended.
