- Notice of intent to sole source a requirement to EF Johnson to perform product staging and project management for the installation of EF Johnson equipment being purchased under a Federal Supply Schedule utilizing FAR Part 8. This purposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.203. It is the intent of the Government to award the staging and installation as part of a "turn key" requirement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be cinsidered. a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendor who believes that they can provide the services and can provide proof that they are are a certified installer of EF Johnson equipment should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Robert Sieferman by 4:00 PM EST, February 21, 2006 at robert.sieferman@dhs.gov. Only e-mail responses will be accepted.
