Description

The General Services Administration is soliciting proposals to replace a 75 ton air cooled chiller unit at Gateway Border Station, 1500 East Elizabeth, Brownsville, Texas. Work should consist, but not limited to removal of existing 75 ton air cooled chiller, installation of new chiller machine either manufactured by Trane or equal to chiller machine manufactured by Trane, equipment rental necessary to perform the project, all electrical/water connections and controls, start up and check unit for proper operation and proper water flow. Existing system is equipped with Energy Management System (EMS), the new chiller should be compatible to the existing system and all controls and EMS equipment should be re-connected to new chiller. Compressor should have an extended four (4) year warranty in addition to the standard manufacturer's warranty. This procurement will be advertised on a restricted basis as a Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $12 million. The Solicitation # is GS-07P-06-UK-M-0045, Project # I06-42. The proposal due date will be on March 16, 2006 at 4:00 pm. Solicitation will be available for downloading from the internet at www.fedbizopps.gov. The estimated cost range for this project is between $50,000.00 and $65,000.00. A Pre-Proposal Conference is schedule for Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Administration Building, Gateway Border Station, 1500 East Elizabeth, Brownsville, Texas.
