Description
This sources sought synopsis is a tool to perform market research for the requirement at Langley Air Force Base, VA to provide dual projection capability. The requirement is as follows: Each projector must be connected to at least 1 computer and one of the two projectors must have the option to connect to the SIPRENT computer while the first PC runs unclassified presentations. Existing capabilities must not be reduced. Additional features we are interested in but not ready to commit funds to yet include: 2-3 additional flat panel monitors two thirds back in the room for easier viewing by those in the back of the room. Also PC connections to control presentation from within the room in addition to the PCs in the projector room. This is a competitive best-value acquisition in which offerors experience and price will be evaluated. The government is considering a 100 percent small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334119 (size standard ? 1,000 employees). This will be decided after market research is completed and a final acquisition strategy is determined. Proximity to the base will be a factor due to the site visit that maybe needed. Foreign participation is excluded. Responses to this synopsis are requested to determine interest and capability to provide this requirement. Potential offerors are asked to submit capabilities packages indicating overall experience. The capability package must be clear, concise, complete and submitted to the buying office and contracting officer listed no later than 12:00 pm EST on 28 Feb 2006. Your response must include, as a minimum, the following items: name and address of the firm; size standard ownership; company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history; and DUNS number. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. The Government will not pay for any materials provided to it in response to this synopsis and submittals will not be returned to the sender. Respondents will not be contacted regarding their submission or information gathered as a result of this notice nor the outcome of the Government's review of the solicited information. Matters of a routine or administrative nature concerning this acquisition should be addressed to the Contract Specialist, Chad Baldwin, (757) 764-8619. Collect calls will not be accepted. CONTRACTORS ARE TO ONLY CONTACT 1 CONS. Request all capabilities packages be transmitted electronically to the following: chad.baldwin@langley.af.mil
