Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Scope of Work. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified in the performance based work statement (PWS) as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Depa rtment of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services for the areas of performance of New York and New Jersey counties. Work to be performed shall be those services in the delivery order schedules awarded to the contractor as outlin ed in individual CLIN items for period of performance of 4/01/2006 - 9/30/2006. Hauling rights are required in these areas of performance for the base period and possible four (4) option years for this total hubzone set-aside.
