Description

Solicitation 8006-22 seeks helicopter flight services for one year consisting of an Bell 212 or Bell 205 with appropriate performance enhancements or equal helicopter, which is fully contractor operated and maintained, to support the National Park Service in their fire management and search and rescue programs. The helicopter will be based at Ash Mountain Helibase Yosemite NP, California 7 days per week. The exclusive use period will be May 12, 2006 through October 20, 2006 (162 calendar days). The contract includes options to extend the contract up to an additional three years. The Contractor shall possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is February 23, 2006. It is a requirement that the successful Contractor be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award being made. Solicitation information will only be available through the fedbizopps site and not at www.oas.gov. Small business set-aside.
