- Description
- Washington Savannah River Company (WSRC), managing contractor of the Savannah River Site (SRS) for the U.S. Department of Energy, is soliciting expressions of interest from companies wishing to license technologies. Engineers at the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) have developed a method for the Analysis of Large Soil Samples for Actinides. This is a method of analyzing actinides in relatively large soil samples by employing a cerium fluoride precipitation matrix removal to precipitate plutonium, americium, and curium and separating these actinides using chromatography cartridges. Any company interested in licensing this technology must respond with a letter of interest (may be submitted by email) no later than March 27, 2006, summarizing the company?s business and technical expertise and motivation for pursuing this opportunity. Qualified companies will be provided with further information on the technology. Questions and expressions of interest may be addressed to John H. Olschon, via telephone at (803) 725-8125; via fax at (803) 725-4988; via email at john.olschon@srnl.doe.gov; or via regular mail at Washington Savannah River Company, Building 773-41A, Room #239, Aiken, SC 29808. This is not a solicitation for a procurement; it is a request for parties interested in licensing this technology only.
