Description
The Air National Guard is conducting market research and is requesting submittal of capability packages from all interested parties regarding your company's ability to provide C-38 Aircrew Training. The required training consists of providing C-38 Ai rcrew Initial Refresher, International Procedures, and Senior Aircrew training to achieve and maintain pilot currency for assigned pilots. Required training ground and simulation is to be provided in block format at contractor facilities operated and maint ained by the contractor. Courses provided shall be commercial off-the-shelf products. Pilot initial and refresher courses shall be FAA certified. The C-38 Aircrew Initial Training should not exceed sixteen academic days for ground and simulator training ov er an eighteen consecutive day period. The Government estimates the C-38 Aircrew Refresher Training course of instruction should not exceed five academic days for ground and simulator training. This course of instruction shall focus emphasis on system norm al, abnormal, and emergency operating procedures for the various systems with particular emphasis on instrument refresher training IRT to include Category 1 (Cat 1) approaches and Crew Resource Management (CRM) procedures. As a minimum the contractor shall provide for the maneuvers and procedures training during the simulator blocks of training. Each simulator training period shall consist of approximately four hours and each pilot shall receive equal time for left seat training during this time frame. Inte rested parties must be capable of furnishing fully qualified courseware, instructors, training facilities, and C-38 OR Gulfstream 100 (G100) commercial equivalent simulators immediately upon contract award. To be considered fully qualified courseware and f light simulators must be certified to USAF/FAA standards. Company technical qualifications and past performance should also be addressed. This notice does not obligate the Government to issue requests for proposals or award contracts for the subject traini ng services. The Government shall not be obligated to pay for any information developed and or furnished by potential sources in response to this notice.
