Description

This is a notice of intent to procure a single source contract with Barnes Aerospace Co., 169 Kennedy Rd, Windsor, CT 06095 for 70 Each #5 Seal & Housing for the rear assembly of the AGT-1500 tank engine; NSN: 5330-01-522-3007, P/N: 12488545, per tec hnical manual # TM 9-2835-255-34P. The contract will be awarded pursuant to FAR 6.301(a) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Barnes is the only manufacture of this item for TACOM contract W56HZV-05-C-0392 which is a DX rated contract. This is based on the technical activitys efforts to meet the Governments minimum needs and schedule requirements. If someone other than Barnes Aerospace believes they have the capability of providing these parts, provide in writing specific qualifications, to include prior contracts and prior performance information.
