Description

This 100% Small Business Set-aside solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price, 5 year IDIQ Requirements contract for the following Qualified Supplier List QSL-02-Plastic Parts used on Small Arms. Item is NOUN: Grip, Pistol, M9, Left; NSN: 1005-01-287-26 06; P/N: 9346489. This item is for use on the M9 Semi-Automatic Pistol and is manufactured from polyamide molding 6/6 or 6/12, unfilled, black color. The award of this solicitation will be restricted to a Small Business that has qualified for the designa ted Qualified Suppliers List QSL-02  Plastic Parts for Small Arms at the time of award. Guaranteed quantity is for 52,000 each; a price evaluation sheet which will include estimated minimum and maximum out-year quantities will be provided with the Solici tation. This FOB is Destination with delivery schedules to be included in the solicitation. Estimated issue date is 10 March 2006. The solicitation will incorporate a Technical Data Package (TDP) which will be viewed with the solicitation via the interne t. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via th e internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mail ing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and ti me set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
