Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce (NECO) online site located at http://neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. The Marine Corps System Command intends to solicit and award a sole source commercial contract to Stanley Associates Inc, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). The purpose of this contract is to provide approximately 20,000 square feet of office space, which is fully outfitted and capable of housing up to approximately 128 GCSS-MC personnel within ten (10) days of contract award. The facility should be located within the Virginia counties of Prince William or Stafford, North of US Route 17 and East of Virginia Highway 28. The facility will have sufficient conference room space to support a collaborative work environment, large program meetings (up to 50 personnel) and conference room pilot (CRP) activities. The facility will be capable of supporting the wide range of data connectivity requirements and support the unique requirements of operating in the Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) environment. The facility will include access controls in accordance with GCSS-MC Information Assurance requirements. The contractor will be required to provide standard office furniture for each person assigned to work in the specific area. This procurement will result in a Firm Fixed Price type contract. It is anticipated the contract will be awarded for a one-year base period of performance with four (4) one-year options, for total of five (5) years.
