Description
NAICS Code 561790: Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to remove and replace defective compressor(Serial Number 1202Q01343 on Circuit B)at the Alliance Tower, 8701 S. Gessner, Houston, TX. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number GS-07P-06-UR-C-0029 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07. The statement of work for this project is as follows: Remove and replace the defective compressor from Chiller#3 Carrier model 30HXC116RY-640, at the Alliance Tower, 8701 S. Gessner, Houston, TX. The motor went to ground and is not repairable. All work shall be subject to General Services Administration (GSA) approval and shall be installed as per Carrier manufacturer specifications. 1. Contractor to provide turn key quotation for chiller compressor replacement on chiller circuit B1. Contractor to provide all required tools, parts, supplies, supervision and labor. 2. The scope of work shall provide the following: a. Lock out/tag out chiller b. Remove and recover refrigerant c. Provide detailed report of refrigerant d. Recycle refrigerant and bring up to factory specifications e. Disconnect electrical f. Disconnect refrigerant piping g. Remove compressor h. Install new compressor for 30HXC116RY640 i. Install new oil filters, dryer cores and Refrigerant “See-All” in refrigerant circuit B1. j. Leak test compressor and piping connections* k. Evacuate system and de-hydrate. l. Perform a 24 HR standing vacuum test.* m. Upgrade all operational software to the latest version. n. Start and log chiller* o. Provide detailed written technician report to GSA. NOTES: 1. When adding new oil, Contractor shall install in strict accordance of manufacturer’s specifications and instructions to lessen moisture content of new oil. Provide new oil sample analysis after oil has been added to machine. 2. All items marked with an asterisk ( * ) are be witnessed by GSA representative and signed off by both parties as complete. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies. Proposals will be evaluated based on warranty provided, delivery time, and price.
