- HSCG87-06-Q-643209 - Repair of floating mooring bollard assemblies at USCGC Hickory mooring at Homer, Alaska. The work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of pile cap pins, reconstruction of pile cap buckling fender connections, adding base bearing pad to pile cap buckling fenders, replacement of mooring sleeve pile rub rails, providing four complete sets of spare pile cap pin assemblies and four complete sets of spare buckling fenders, bearing pads and attachment bolts. The prospective contractor is responsible for verifying the existing geometry of the bollards and all components prior to fabricating and installing specified materials. All work shall be completed by June 2, 2006. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the applicable size standard is $31.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote. This solicitation will only be issued in electronic form. Solicitation documents may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about March 10, 2006) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time quotes are due. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website or via CD-ROM, upon request to the issuing office. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FedTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package. A planholders list will not be available for this project from CEU-Juneau.
