Description

The Procurement Office at the Defense Distribution Center (DDC) located in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for the establishment of a firm/fixed priced purchase order to provide 3(ea) Key Watcher III upgrade (CPU and software) P/N: KW-8425, 1(ea) 20 Locking & Alarmed Location System P/N: KW3-020, and 2(ea) 50 Locking & Alarmed Location System P/N: KW-3050 for the Defense Distribution Center Red River, Texas (DDRT). In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c), FAR 11.105 and DFARS 211.105 this acquisition is to be limited to the Key Watcher III System (Brand Name Only). DDRT currently has six (6) systems which contain components that are outdated. Three (3) systems must be upgraded, three (3) must be replaced. Substitutes are not compatible. Components must be able to work within existing system. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal. The NAICS code for this procurement is 335999. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside, small business size standard being 500 employees. The exact date and time for receipt of offers shall be provided in the solicitation package which will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 10 March 2006. NOTICE: All vendors and prospective Department of Defense contractors MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE DOD CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE.
