*********ISSUE ON MARCH 9, 2006*********** It is the purpose of this solicitation to secure the services of a 3 winged Subsoiler and Tractor with Operator for Subsoiling activities to alleviate soil compaction, increase soil viability and minimize soil erosion. Treatment areas are in units that contain previously harvested areas (estimated number of is acres 584). Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform the work within the specifications. Contract location is the Crescent Ranger District of the Deschutes National Forest, Bend, Oregon. Solicitation packages will be available for free download at www.fedbizopps.gov.
