Description

Class Code 38 SUBJECT: Safety Shoes SOL # W52H09-06-T-5381 Set Aside Code: N/A Response Deadline: 13 March 06 Description: Line Item 0001-Safety Shoes for employees of Rock Island Arsenal. This will be a split award going to the two lowest technically acceptable, responsible, reponsive offerors. These contractors shall alternate every week with each having the opportunity to provide services every other week. They shall provide a full service shoe mobile stocked with sufficient sizes, widths, and styles of protective footwear for men and women. All costs of operating the shoe mobile shall be borne by the contr actors. This contract shall have base plus two option years. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to: Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. 61299. Approximate issue date is 24 February 2006 with closing date 13 March 2006. Once issued, copies of the soli citation, and the Purchase Description will be available for download from the Army Single Face to Industry website at http://acquisition.army.mil. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check this website for the issuing and any changes to t he solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. The proposed contract is a Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification Code is 316213, 500 employees.
