Description

The Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC), USDA, ARS, intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Integrated Pest Management Services for BARC, the National Agricultural Library (NAL), Beltsville, Maryland and the United States National Arboretum (USNA), Washington, DC. The base period of performance will be from April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2007, plus an additional four (4), 12-month option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561710 and the annual size standard is $6.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as Unrestricted, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The RFQ (11-3K47-06) is issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is incorporating clauses and provisions through FAC 2005-08. The solicitation will be available to interested parties through electronic data exchange only. The internet address is www.fedbizopps.gov. Notification of any changes (amendments) to this solicitation shall be made via the internet. The solicitation will be released (ready for downloading) on or about March 8, 2006. Quotations will be due on March 23, 2006. A site visit will be held on March 15, 2006. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the site visit. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award date is no later than March 27, 2006.
