- THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) is seeking to pre-qualify firms for Design-Build Construction of a New Embassy Complex in Suva, Fiji. This complex will include approximately 5,000 square meters of buildings, perimeter walls, landscaping, parking and site infrastructure. The construction site is over 4 hectares in size, undulating and elevated. Estimated design-build cost is $30,000,000 - $35,000,000. It is contemplated that the work will be accomplished through a combination of design, design-build, and construction contracts. The construction work will be awarded under two separate contracts. This is an announcement and call for submission of prequalification packages for the acquisition of design-build services to construct all unclassified portions of the NEC. A separate announcement will be made for the acquisition of the contract for fit out of the classified areas of the Chancery building. The period of performance is estimated to be approximately 16 months..... SEE ATTACHED
