Description

The Southwest Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 18) has a requirement for the provision of eyeglasses for the medical facilities within the VISN 18 network, for a base period of May 1, 2006 through March 31, 2007 with four option years ending March 31, 2011. The North American Industry Classification System Number (NAICS) for the services is 339115 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) firm-fixed price contract. Alternate proposals will not be accepted. The solicitation clauses and provisions are updated through FAC 2005-08. Copies of the solicitation may be obtained at no charge at the VA Business Opportunities System website http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov or the federal website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ Dissemination is limited to electronic medium and the VA will provide no hard copies. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Small Business and will be evaluated for best value for the VA. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments, regularly checking the VA website, and ensuring registration in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) both found at the Business Partner Network http://www.bpn.gov.
