Description

An informational meeting will be held on March 10, 2006, at the Longmire Community Building within Mount Rainier National Park to discuss Guided Mountaineering Prospectus A (CC-MORA001-06) and Prospectus B (CC-MORA005 & 006-06). The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at approxtimately 1:00 p.m. The format for the meeting will follow the guidelines below: 1. Questions must be submitted in writing during the meeting. Capturing the exact text of the questions will allow us to produce an accurate written summary of the meeting. 2. Formal responses to questions will be made in writing after the meeting. Verbal responses provided by the park are preliminary answers. 3. Questions submitted by the Offerors, as well as the written NPS responses, will be distributed to interested parties, including those who are unable to attend this session, approximately 20 days after the meeting. 4. The purpose of this meeting is to provide clarification of the requirements contained in the each prospectus. All Offerors are welcome to visit the park and view the areas where activities will occur under the proposed contracts at their convenience. A formal, guided site visit will not be offered by the park. If you have any questions concerning this meeting or if you would like to be removed from the guided mountaineering prospectus mailing list, please contact Chris Jones at (360) 569-2211, extension 2303 (Christopher_Jones@nps.gov). Directions: Follow State Route 706 east from Elbe. Enter the park through the Nisqually gate (in order to obtain a waiver of the entrance fee inform the entrance station staff that you will be attending a meeting at Longmire). Turn right on the road just past the National Park Inn. Follow the road through the parking area and cross a suspension bridge (one vehicle at a time). Continue to follow the road along the Nisqually River to the Community Building (the log building on your left).
