Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, requires modification of the On-Board Inert Gas Generating System (OBIGGS) with the auxiliary fuel tanks to incorporate a flexible pneumatic line and quick disconnect. Period of performance is estimated to be 36 months from the date of contract award. Place of delivery is Fort Campbell, KY. The contractor shall test and inspect all systems and components prior to delivery for quality, functionality, and operability. The Government intends to award a contract to Robertson Aviation Inc., 1024 East Vista Del Cerro, Tempe, AZ 85281, on a sole source basis. Robertson Aviation, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer. There are no other known sources that would be capable of performing the requested services. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
