Description

The 117th Air Refueling Wing, Birmingham, Alabama. Has a requirement to provide selective demolition of existing shingle roof and install new metal roof system. Remove shingle roofing and felt down to wood decking, remove gutters, downspouts, flashi ng at roof penetrations, all flashings, curbs, edgings, gutters, downspouts, and other roofing accessories, work will include all labor, material, equipment, tools, and supervision, etc. Roof sizes for Buildings 141 & 142 are approximately 20,000 SF and 15 ,000 SF respectively. Work is described in Statement of Work, Project Specifications, and project plans, Project # BRKR 0520109. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, and in accordance with FAR Part 14, Competitive Acquisition Procedures. This is a firm fixed price contract. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS Code is 238160. This solicitation is unrestricted. General W age Decision Number: AL20030033 01/13/2006 will be used. The solicitation and specifications will be posted on or after 15 March 2006 with a closing date of 14 April 2006.
