- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Washington DC has a requirement with two alternatives: (1) to upgrade its Voice Print International voice recording system and software in Houston Texas or (2) to replace it with a new system and software from a different manufacturer, and will be issuing a solicitation that allows for proposals on either alternative. Additionally, the OCC is adding a requirement for a very small system and software at its Disaster Recovery site in Denver. Both alternatives for Houston have the same end requirements in terms of specifications/capabilities. The Denver requirement is new thus there is no ?upgrade? alternative involved. The requirement will involve Computer Telephony Integration (CTI). The solicitation will require a technical solution from vendors and very specific technical literature to demonstrate that what is proposed meets the requirements of the solicitation. All solutions must provide for migrating the existing database (estimated at 88 DVDs of 5.1gigs each). The solicitation will have four one-year options for maintenance of the contractor provided hardware and software, following one year of software maintenance and one year of hardware warranty following acceptance of the system. Award will be made upon a best value basis. First an offer must be determined technically acceptable. Of those offers determined to be technically acceptable, the OCC will evaluate past performance and price and award on a best value basis. This is an unrestricted solicitation which is being processed in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOps on or about 6 March 2006 with a one week response time. E-mail submission are authorized andmust be received by the date and time established in the solicitatioin for receipt of offers (however it is incumbent upon the offeror to ensure that all the required information is provided with such e-mail submissions, the same as if it were provided by hand, courier, or mail).
