Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) SubPart 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency, the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to award a sole source bridge contract to ARAMARK Services, Inc. for consolidated facilities support services at the Federal Executive Institute (FEI), Charlottesville, VA. The performance period is March 1, 2006 through June 30, 2006 (four months). This notice does not constitute a formal solicitation Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation document is available. Telephone and facsimile requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded based on offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice shall show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed four month bridge contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and received no later than March 10, 2006, 2:00PM EST at the United States Office of Personnel Management, 1900 E. Street, NW, ATTN: MSD/CCFAS Contracting Group (Patricia Collins), Washington, DC 20415-770.
