Description: The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) proposes to extend the period of performance under Contract No. PBGC01-CT-01-0603 with Resource Consultants, Inc. Under this contract, Resource Consultants, Inc. is providing technical support service for Database Administration and UNIX/LINUX. An extension to the contract for six additional months is necessary to compete a consolidated information technology contract, allow for a continuity of services and allow for an orderly transition after the award of contract. The solicitation for the consolidated information technology contract, which is being handled by Kay Rison of the PBGC, is expected to be issued in the March/April 2006 timeframe.
