- The National Institutes of Health(NIH) Office of the Director(OD) Bethesda, MD has a requirement for adverse event coding. The North American Industry Classification System Code(NAICS) is 541690, and the business size is $6.5mil. Specialized skills and expertise will be needed to implement Medra into Gemcris The general tasks to be performed include: Adverse Event Coding Code approx. 1000 historical adverse events for information contained in the adverse Event description, lab test, and medical conditions for each adverse event. The contractor Will coordinate with Stellar to determine the file layouts needed for data exchange and For delivery of the adverse event information to the contractor. The contractor will have their personnel sign the OBA data confidentiality agreement And submit the agreements to OBA prior to acceptance of the adverse event data. The location of coding will be at the contractor?s site in a secure location to insure privacy. Coding will be done at the Low Level Term(LLT) The specificity of coding will be to store the verbatim term from the narrative along with The LLT selected for that term in addition to the Preferred Term(PT), PT code, & role code.
