Description

The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, management, equipment, tools, transportation and any other items or services required to provide maintenance and repair service for twelve (12) COMPAQ servers and one (1) HP tape backup unit listed at Appendix. The contractor shall be responsible for 24x7 remote problem diagnosis, support onsite problem diagnosis, hardware support, and providing parts and materials as in accordance with the Performance-Based Statement of Work (PWS). The contractor shall provide maintenance service for COMPAQ servers and HP tape backup unit in accordance with commercial and manufacturer standards. The contractor shall make sure employees have current on-site training specific to COMPAQ PROLIANT servers. Note 1: Solicitation issuance and closing dates are tentative. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the firm dates at block 6 & 8 of SF 1449, once the solicitation is released, to ensure submission of your offer in a timely manner. If you have any questions about the release date of a solicitation please contact the Contract Administrator or Contracting Officer listed in this announcement. Note 2: This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must be licensed and registerd to perform work in the country of Japan. Note 3: Solicitation issuance and closing dates are tentative.
