- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Winston Salem, North Carolina (Forsyth County) area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated August 2000 as Revised by the CCB: Revision 1 - December 2000, Revision 2 - August 2001, Revision 3 - November 2001, Revision 4 - May 2002, Revision 5 - October 2003, Revision 6 -May 2004 and Revision 7 - May 2005." An indefinite delivery requirements type contract with a two year base period and three one-year options is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for the two year base period is 26,316 (83% males/17% females), Option Year 1 is 13,140 (83% males/17% females) inmate days, Option Year 2 is 13,140 (83% males/17% females) inmate days and Option Year 3 is 13,140 (83% males/17% females) inmate days, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about January 3, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-0901-MA will be on or about March 6, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted.
