Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the fabrication and delivery of 32 wire rope assemblies for the Navigation Lock at John Day Dam. The John Day Dam is located on the Columbia River, approximately 109 miles east of Portland, Oregon. Each wire rope assembly is approximately 200 feet long, and consists of 2.25 diameter wire rope with one open socket and one bridge socket. Contract also includes fabrication and delivery of various pin s and connecting rods. All items shall be delivered to John Day Dam no later than September 7th, 2006.
