Description

The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, has a requirement to purchase 16 each ALMCD Vertical Instrument Displays (VIDs), Part Number 640-970-02-02. The displays are installed on the A/MH-6M special operations aircraft. It is the Government's intent to award a contract with L3 Communications Displays Systems, 1355 Bluegrass Lakes, Parkwat, Alpharetta, GA 300043 on a sole source basis. L3 is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the requesed VID. No other VID is acceptable due to current FAA certification. Note 22 applies. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DO. The associated NAICS Code is 336413.
