Description

DESC: 341600X064030, The item to procure is a CNC Lathe. The equipment to be supplied is to be a small, high-speed, conventional lathe with the ability to learn. Item to be procured in accordance with Rock Island Arsenal Purchase Description RIPD J4000-06-9-87. This Purchase Description will be included, in its entirety, within Solicitation W52H09-06-T-5423. Requirement is 1 each, CNC Lathe. The proposed contract will include a 400 percent option. FOB is Destination. For use in the support of the production in assembly, prototype, and tool & gage departments. Estimated issue date is 21 March 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishin g an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments wh ich may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100 % small business set-aside.
