Description
This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Offers are being requested in reference to N00189-06-Q-P635 issued on 03/10/06 with a closing date of 03/17/06 at 3:30 pm local closing time. The clauses at 52.212-1, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 commercial provisions will be included. This requirement is for a quantity of 40 vacuum air motor and muffler assemblies. An assembly to include: A vaccon 120 cfm eductor motor assembly (Vaccon p/n: VDF750) and muffler (Vaccon p/n: ST16C) or equal components. The supply side of the assembly will contain a stainless steel 1/2" NPT-F ball valve, 2,000 Psi WOG. The ball valve to be similar to Universal Components, Inc. p/n: S2S-4. The up-stream side of the ball valve will be attached to a 3/8" one-way shut-off plug end air coupling with an internal bleeder ball check. The coupling material shall be steel with 1/2" NPT-M threads to connect directly to the ball valve. The coupling will be similar to a Hansen Co. p/n: 3L25G. The downstream side of the 1/2" NPT-F ball valve will be connected to the vacuum assembly with a 1/2" NPT-M pipe nipple, length to suit. The vacuum assembly port side shall be attached to a 3/4" NPT 316 stainless steel in-line check valve with a maximum crack pressure of .125 PSI, oriented with flow direction towards the vacuum assembly. The check valve shall be similar to Check-All Valve mfg. co. p/n: CNFSSMT.125SS. The check valve shall be attached to a stainless steel 3/4" NPT 90 degree street elbow (ASME). A stainless steel 3/4" NPT-F x 1-1/2" NPT-M bushing (ASME) shall connect the street elbow to a 1-1/2" quick disconnect coupler. The quick disconnect coupler shall be a stainless steel 1-1/2" NPT-F with a 1-1/2" female cam and groove connection. The c oupler is to be similar to OPW Kamlok p/n: 633D-SS15 or Dixon/Andrews p/n: 150-D-SS. The Vaccon air motor will be adjusted to maximum flow and will be secured in that position by either epoxy adhesive or TIG welding to prevent any movement and the adjustment nut will be removed. All press fit components on the muffler shall be disassembled, epoxied in place and re-assembled to prevent breakage. The overall dimensions of the assembled component must not exceed 10" x 10" x 20". Threaded fittings may be adjusted for ease of assembly but must be kept to a minimum. All threaded fittings except the air motor to muffler connection shall be made with Teflon tape and thoroughly tightened. All assemblies will come fully assembled. All components shall not contain any lead, brass, bronze, mercury, chromium or cadmium materials or plating. A picture is available of complete assembly upon request by email. NOTE: Some items shown in the picture may differ from the description above as the! picture is to show orientation of parts for assembly. Contractor must include assembly and shipment of one unit prior to completion of order for evaluation by PNS to monitor conformance with specifications. One award will be made to the technically acceptable low offeror for all 40 assemblies. All offerors must provide a valid email address for response to offers and awards.
