Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 is soliciting for a a temporary facility approximately 2,500 gross square feet for use by the Government at a location designated on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials and supervision as well as the temporary structure. The facility shall be complete, ready for use, including all exterior utility connections, steps, HVAC, fire alarm system sprinkler system, electrical, etc., in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW and a site plan will be posted with the request for quote on www.fedbizopps.gov as well as www.dtra.mil. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this request for quote. The period of performance shall be one year from date of award with one six month option period. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. The anticipated date for release of the RFQ is 22 March 2006. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies and procedures contained in FAR Parts 12 and 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Numbered Note 1 applies.
