Description

Furnish all labor, tools, material and supervision to install fire sprinklers in Building 16, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical, Dublin, GA, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical, asbestos and electrical work for the complete installation of a wet sprinkler system on all three floors of building 16. The work shall be phased to accomplish the basement, first floor, second floor and stairwell as four separate phases. Contractor will be responsible for the necessary tie-ins to the hospitals existing Simplex Fire Alarm system. Solicitation package and drawings will be available for download on or about 3/31/06. No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided. NAICS Code 238220 with size standard $12.0 million applies. Cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Completion time is 150 days. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the VA. This solicitation is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
