Description

VA VISN 19, on behalf of the Eastern Colorado Healthcare System, Denver, Colorado, will solicit a sole source contract with the American Indian and Alaska Native Programs operated by the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center to conduct the program of telepsychiatry (live interactive video conferencing) for Northern Plains American Indian veterans residing on or near the Crow and Northern Cheyenne reservations and Indian Health Service facilities. This program is operated in partnership with the VA Montana Healthcare System, Ft. Harrison, Montana. The University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center is an affiliate of the VA ECHCS and this contract will be sought on a sole source basis under 38 U.S.C. 8153. The UCDHSC is the incumbent contractor conducting this program under the previous IHS and VA grant basis, and is uniquely qualified to conduct this program on a contract basis in the future. The VA will consider proposals from other organizations for 10 days following this announcement.
