Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Ohio Water Science Center, Columbus, OH intends to make award on a sole source basis, to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to construct a well for inclusion into the statewide monitoring well network along with a GIS layer Geographic information system. The ODNR-DOW, in cooperation with the USGS, has operated and maintained a monitoring well network in the State of Ohio since the late 1930's. ODNR,DOW has the capability and expertise to coordinate the drilling much faster and the knowledge to meet the specifications of the Statewide monitoring network. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about March 15, 2006 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 924120. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published. See note 1
