- The Naval Air Systems Command-Aircraft Division (NAVAIR-AD), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for: P/N 7-59615, Pan/Tilt QPT-100 24vdc MR Rotator (Qty 2) and P/N 7-08964, Power Supply Hoffman Enclosure 24dc 10.2 (Qty 2). All items are manufactured and will be provided by Quickset International Inc., 3650 Woodhead Drive, Northbrook, IL 60062-1895. Quickset International Inc. is the original and only known manufacturer of these items. The production of these items requires access too proprietary information controlled by Quickset International Inc. NAVAIR-AD intends to solicit written quotes from Quickset International Inc. for the above items with an anticipated award date of 26 March, 2006, and an estimated delivery date of 4 May, 2006 to NAVAIR-AD Patuxent River, MD. The required products are for direct replacement of existing devices and must be procured from Quickset International Inc. to sustain system compatibility and interoperability. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement in which they identify their interest and capability. All capabilities statements received by 2:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, 24 March, 2006 to vicki.miles@navy.mil, or faxed to (301) 757-0200 will be considered by the Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. Technical capability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this provision. Therefore, it is incumbent on the interested party to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis for the brand specific item based upon the responses received.
