Description

The work consists of providing all services necessary to design and install (design-build) a water treatment system that will produce water meeting current State of Oregon drinking water standards. The system shall include chlorination, activated charcoal filtration, and filtration of precipitated iron and manganese. The existing domestic well produces water although not hazardous the taste and odor render it undrinkable and because of staining and deposits it cannot be used in any work application at the site. The project site is located in Medford District, Josephine County in the town of Merlin, Oregon. NAICS Code is 237110. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated Start Work date is June 1, 2006. Performance time is 45 calendar days for Phase I and 15 calendar days for Phase II. Bonds are required for Phase II: Performance Bond: 20% and Payment Bond, 100%. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is March 12, 2006.
