Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61128-06-R-0001 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07 effective 2Feb06. A written proposal is requested to provide (a) PN 12-0101 Helmet EOD 9 with APS Olive Drab, QTY 15UI EA; (b) PN 913-5100 Suit EOD 9, Olive Drab-MD QTY 15 UI EA; (c) PN 420-131 BCS-3A Body Cooling Sytem-MD, QTY 15 UI EA. The contract shall ship the required items to EOD MU5 Guam. The provisions at 52.212-1 and 52.212-2 apply to this acquisition. The contractor is required to include a completed copy of 52.212-3 as part of their proposal. FAR clauses 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.216-18 and 52.216-21 apply to this acquisition.
