Description
66?SERVICES NON-PERSONAL : SERVICES necessary to accomplish REPAIR of Crash Survival Memory Unit applicable to the F-16 acft. Contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and ALL MATERIAL to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the items of Air Force Equipment listed below. A Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract is contemplated for a Basic Year plus Four (4) One-Year Options. The items and Estimated Quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN 6610-01-434-0289; P/N 169961-09-01; Noun: Crash Survival Memory Unit; APPL: F-16 Acft; Estimated Qty ; 3 ea. Basic Year, 3 ea. Option I, 3 ea. Option II, 3 ea. Option III and 3 ea. Option IV. Deliveries are to be made at the rate of 1 each per month beginning 30 days ARO and Reparables. Ship To addresses will be provided when serviceable assets are ready to be shipped. Award may include options. No telephone request. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requestor are acceptable. ALL responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. NOTE 26: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
