Description
NAICS Code: 333618 John Deere 6090H 375 Horsepower Off-Highway Diesel Engine with Accessories In accordance with FAR Part 13 and FAR Part 12, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Air and Radiation, Laboratory Operations Division (NVFEL) in Ann Arbor, Michigan is seeking to procure an EPA Tier III Compliant (1) John Deere 6090H 375 HP non-road diesel engine, (2) a full-set of parts and service manuals (3) option catalog with photos of optional parts (4) diagnostic software and datalink required to check ECU for proper operation (5) wiring diagram with ECM and harness points. The Certification and Compliance Division (CCD) and the Laboratory Operations Division (LOD) of the National Vehicle Fuel and Emissions Lab (NVFEL) are implementing a non-road diesel test specimen to be used for the non-road diesel round-robin engine testing program in the near future. The EPA is procuring a John Deere engine for use as a non-road diesel specimen. The engine shall be equipped with a variable geometry turbo, high pressure common rail fuel injection and high pressure loop exhaust gas recirculation. The engine will be used as a test mule engine to check out the non-road diesel round robin test engine. The engine will be sent to various engine test labs throughout the non-road diesel industry. The data generated at each lab will be compared to the data generated at the EPA.. This acquisition is designated as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 333618. Interested and responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to the RFQ -OH-06-00205 which shall be considered by the Agency. The Government will award an order resulting from the RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ, meets the minimum requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW), schedule and delivery. The order resulting from this acquisition will be firm-fixed price. This office does not intend to mail hard copies of the RFQ, but will provide electronic copies upon request.
