Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a firm fixed price one-year contract on a sole source basis to Standard and Poor's, 2542 collection Center Drive, Chicago, IL, 60693. Standard and Poor's shall provide access to legal publications, subscriptions, and upkeep services via print and electronic services on a subscription basis. This service shall include the following information: S&P's Stock Reports, S&P's Security Dealers of North America, S&P's Basic Investment & Industry Data Shelf, S&P's Standard Corporation Descriptions, S&P's Dividend Record, S&P's Industry Surveys, S&P's Bond Guide, S&P's Monthly Stock Guide, S&P's Daily Stock Price Record for the NYSE and NASDAQ, S&P's Daily Stock Price Record for the ASE, S&P's Register of Corporations, Review of Banking & Financial Services, Review of Securities & Commodities Regulation, S&P's Statistical Service, and S&P's Stock Market Encyclopedia. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this service. Interested parties are advised that no solicitation document is available for this requirement and may identify their interest and capacity by submitting a capabilities statement and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by e-mail to johnsonja@sec.gov by March 24, 2006, 9 am, Subject: Capabilities/qualifications. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposes of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
