Description

THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO REVIEW AND PRINT ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEB SITE IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The Low Rock Project. The work consists of constructing 0.8 miles of new road and reconstructing 3 miles of existing road. Specific work includes: establishing clearing limits; soil erosion and pollution control; clearing and grubbing; removal of log culverts; excavation, furnishing and placing riprap; linear grading; furnishing and installing round culverts and pipe arches; furnishing and placing seed and mulch; and furnishing and installing a gate. The project is located on the Lowman Ranger District, Boise National Forest, Boise County, Idaho. The work is on Rd. 594B and Rd 594D in the Rock Creek drainage near Lowman, Idaho. Take Rd. 594 at Milepost 70.5 on Highway 21 and continue for approximately 7.2 miles. Rd. 594B is on the left. Rd. 594B is not drivable. Continue on Rd. 594 for about 6.5 miles (13.7 miles from Highway 21). Rd. 594D is on the left. Rd. 594D is drivable. During the winter months the project location can only be accessed by snowmobile or cross country skis. NAICS code is 237310; size standard is $28.5 Million. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start date is May 1, 2006 with 123 calendar days for completion. Estimated completion date is September 1, 2006.
