Description

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) intends to award a sole source task order to BelArc Inc. of Maynard, MA for BelManage software. The task order will be fixed price. The Coast Guard requires BelArc software to provide asset management products that will provide real-time data on the hardware and software assets deployed throughout the enterprise. With asset management change history software, the Coast Guard will have the ability to keep an accurate inventory of its IT assets, ensure software licensing compliance and provide better-centralized help-desk support. The description of items or services are as follows: CLIN 00001 – Change History Client Licenses: 5000 EA; CLIN 00002 – Additional Change History Client Licenses: 5000 EA; CLIN 00003 – Additional Change History Client Licenses: 3000 EA; CLIN 00004 – Maintenance to Support CLIN 00001: 5000 EA; CLIN 00005 – Maintenance to Support CLIN 00002: 5000; and CLIN 00006 – Maintenance to Support CLIN 00003: 3000 EA. The period of performance for maintenance is date of award through September 30, 2006. The proposed contract action is for software (client history client licenses) for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. All interested parties have up to 4 days from the publication of this notice of intent to request a copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ).
