Description

U. S. Army Field Support Command (AFSC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and vehicles to perform Security Guard Services at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), McAlester, OK. AFSC intends to issu e Request for Quote, W52P1J-06-R-3011. This contract will be restricted to 8A firms under NAICS 561612 with $11.5M as the small business classification. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. This service will cover a 1-year base peri od with four 1-year option periods. The RFQ will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition,army.mil on or about April 13, 2006 with opening 30 days from issuance. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http: //www.ccr.gov. At this same site, you must register in ORCA. Interested firms are invited to submit Proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any c hanges to the solicitation. No hard copies are available.
