Description

Subject: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE-SOURCE PROCUREMENT Description: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source to Booz-Allen-Hamilton, 8286 Greensboro Drive, Suite 700, McLean, VA 22102 for the completion of Phase III of a pilot study at Kelly Air Force Base relat ed to Radio Frequency Identification Devices. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. This synopsis is not considered a request for quotation or proposal. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchas e will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the following email addre ss no later than 1400 hours (EST) 28 March 2006: colleen.barnes@det.amedd.army.mil.
