Description

This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice in accordance with FAR 5.203(a). The USAF will request a price quote for the following air-refueling equipment parts: Drogue Assembly Variable (Part Number 65081150) 1 each, Bolt, Hex HD (Part Number A102-1-2G) 8 each, Retaining Ring (Part Number 43327150) 1 each, Intercoastal Net (Part Number FRS850014) 8 each, Hose Jettison Unit Assembly (Part Number 43327643) 1 each, Drogue Lacing Jig (Part Number 6605475) 4 each. Interest parties should request a Request for Quote (RFQ) from Lisa C. Martin, MC130SS/PK or John R. Shock, MC130SS/PK. ---- UPDATED on 13 March 2006: The government anticipates releasing a Request for Quote (RFQ) on 15 Mar 2006. ---- The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to responses to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within twenty–five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
