Description

Previous notice is amended to read as follows: Please do not request solicitation information prior to posting of solicitation. The anticipated solicitation posting date has changed from on or about 6 March 2006 to on or about 15 March 2006. The Western Regional Contracting Office is establishing a Sur gical Implant Program for various classes of implants for delivery at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, WA. The Government anticipates that it will issue for each class of implant multiple indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity delivery order contr acts. Duration of the contracts will be for a base year and four option years, if exercised. This solicitation is for the first phase. Contracts awarded under this phase will establish multiple supply sources that will provide a streamlined method for proc uring orthopedic implants (including spinal implants), associated consumable surgical supplies, associated instrumentation specific to the procedures, and surgical sets. The objectives are to insure availability and consistency of product for use at Madiga n Army Medical Center at the best possible price while reducing processing time/workload for all parties, streamlining the payment process, and reducing vendor payment time. The estimated maximum combined value of all contracts under the program is $42.5 m illion for five years. No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will not be issued.
