- Amendment 003. 1.Change the proposal receipt date to be 16 March 2006 @ 1200 Eastern Standard time in lieu of 16 February 2006. 2.Questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be in writing to the technical representative NLT 1200 on 16 Febrary 2006. Minutes of the site visit: Minutes from Pre-Proposal Conference and site visit for S-WHARC-06-Q-1005 on January 10, 2006 for Telecommunication Services for American Embassy San Salvador. The pre-proposal conference and site visit was held in the Chancery Auditorium and at the main incoming telephone switching gear at the visitor’s parking area. The offerors were instructed they would be required to write there questions down during the tour so appropriate answers could be given. The group was also told the reason for this requirement was to be certain that all prospective offerors were provided the same information. Prospective offeror were then escorted to the “demarcation point” of the telephone/communication system and shown the main switching location at the Visitor’s Parking lot. The group was also shown the overhead wiring systems in place along the street. These questions were asked during the site visit. The group was advised at the meeting to resubmit their questions in writing for formal written answers. Q1. Existe la disponibilidad para instalar mas cables desde el exterior hacia el interior del complejo? Is there the availability to install more cables from outside to the interior of the compound? A1. Current Infrastructure from the street node to the Embassy Demarcation Point consists of two 4” metal conduits. If additional conduits are necessary the Vendor will be required to install. Q2. Cual será el punto de entrega del servicio? Which will be the service delivery point? A2.Physical lines are terminated at the Embassy Demarcation Point. The vendor is responsible for installing any additional hardware to ensure that signaling is received at the Embassy Main Frame Room. The Embassy will provide Multimode fiber connectivity from the Demarcation Point to the Main Frame Room. Q3. La Embajada será responsable de la distribución del servicio desde el punto de entrega del proveedor hasta los equipos? Will the Embassy be responsible of the distribution of services from the vendor’s delivery point up to the telephone equipment? A3. Physical lines are terminated at the Embassy Demarcation Point. The vendor is responsible for installing any additional hardware to ensure that signaling is received at the Embassy Main Frame Room. The Embassy will provide Multimode fiber connectivity from the Demarcation Point to the Main Frame Room. Q4. Cual es la norma a utilizar acorde a la interfase ya existente? Which is the regulation to apply according to the existing interface? A4.
