Description

This is a sole source notice for services to develop, edit and publish student workbooks and instructor answer keys to correlate with the "World in Transition" curriculum series by the Southern Center for International Studies (SCIS). Workbooks and answer keys shall be developed for the following "World in Transition" areas: Europe in Transition, The Middle East in Transition, South Asia in Transition, East Asia in Transition, Africa in Transition, Latin American in Transition and Russia and the Former Soviet Republics in Transition. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This requirement is being purchased through the Southern Center for International Studies (SCIC), Cage Code 1SKR3. This solicitation incorporates the clauses and provision in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular and will be awarded as a fixed price contract. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractors' Registration database (www.ccr.gov)prior to award of any Government contract in accordance with DFARS 52.204-7004. Additional specifics provided by request. All interested, responsible firms must respond to this notice by 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on March 24, 2006, to ATTN: Elizabeth Walker, phone: (334) 953-8083 or email to elizabeth.walker@maxwell.af.mil. If no responses are received by the above date and time, a sole source contract with the Southern Center for International Studies will be pursued.
